Service Description

Lumecca is a light based treatment that breaks up pigmentation such as freckles, acne scars, melasma, liver spots, moles, broken capillaries and other such areas of hyperpigmentation on the face or body. The bright beam energy that comes from the IPL machine break up dark pigmentation and cauterizes red vessels, as a result the discolored area gently reduces in color, essentially erasing stubborn and unwanted red and brown spots. Before Treatment Instructions • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 4 weeks prior to treatment • Avoid applying self-tanner for 2 weeks prior to treatment • Avoid using any retinol for 48 hours prior to treatment • Avoid taking aspirin and ibuprofen 48 hours before treatment • Avoid taking Accutane for 6 months prior to treatment • Photosensitizing medications including doxycycline and minocycline should be discontinued 3 days prior to treatment
