Morpheus 8 / Microneedling & RF

Service Description

With Morpheus 8, the skin is rapidly pierced by the tiny sterile needles and simultaneously treated with Radio Frequency (RF) waves to help unclog pores, begin the healing process and tighten skin. This stimulates collagen production and increases cell turnover for skin clarity. Before Treatment Instructions • Arrive 20 minutes prior to appointment time to apply topical numbing cream • Avoid skin irritation or intentional skin tanning. • Discontinue any irritant topical agents prior to treatment 4-5 days prior to treatment. May continue use one week after treatment. • Discontinue use of hydroquinone 7 days prior to treatment. • Arrive for treatment with clean skin. All makeup, lotion, oils, should be removed. • Discontinue use of NSAIDs (ex. ibupfrofen, acetaminophen) 48 hours prior to treatment and following treatment • If possible, discontinue use of antihistamines 48 hours prior to treatment • Patients with a history of diseases stimulated by heat, such as Herpes Simplex (history of cold sores), may be treated only following a prophylactic regime. Let provider know. After Treatment Instructions • Immediately after treatment, you may experience erythema (redness) for 1-3 days, however for more aggressive treatments this may last longer. Slight to moderate edema (swelling) and a mild to moderate sunburn sensation are also common post treatment and may last 1-3 days. Skin may crust and peel for 2-7 days depending on treatment settings.
